- Community Involvement and Communications - rallying the community to support CARE and Cloverdale Schools
- Funding - broadening sources of revenue to maximize funding and create financial sustainability, including program endowments
- Grant Making - developing a multi-faceted grant making approach through teacher applications and directly funding administration initiatives
- Governance - strengthening the CARE Board through training and increasing community participation
